Hack Library School – the book!
As some of you may or may not know, I write for a fantastic blog called Hack Library School. It is a great place where library students from all over the country tackle questions like: “What will the information professions be next year if we define it for ourselves today? If we had a voice in the development of curriculum, what would that degree entail? How would you hack library school?”
This past summer we decided to pull together years of content from the blog into a concise, structured format – an ebook! While we have no plans to retire the blog (in fact my next post comes out next week!), we wanted a more permanent reference source for our readers. The ebook, which is available online, as well as in the e-LIS repository, will serve as a handy, easy-to-reference guide for LIS students now and for years to come!
I’m very proud to be a part of Hack Library School and super excited to have two of my posts featured in the book!
If you’re interested in writing for the blog, contact one of the editors – we love guest posts!
